Terms of Service
The terms that hold when you use this site or book a consultation.
These terms govern the use of healthylifestyleenergyboost.site and the online nutrition consultations provided through it. By using the site or booking a consultation, you agree to them. Please read them alongside the privacy policy and the cookie policy, which explain how personal data is handled during intake and follow-up.
The wording is written to be read plainly. Where a clause refers to a booking, it applies to the video consultation booked through the contact form and confirmed by email.
What these terms cover
Online nutrition consultations delivered by video, meal planning, and follow-up support for adults. The practice is based in Kranj and works with clients across Slovenia.
Scope of the service
Healthy Lifestyle Energy Boost provides online nutrition consultations, meal planning, and follow-up support to adults. Consultations are delivered by video. No in-person services are offered.
The service is informational and supportive in nature. It does not include medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or prescription of medication. If you are looking for clinical care, a physician or another licensed healthcare professional is the right place to start.
Consultations run by video; the materials you receive are meant to be used at your own table, at your own pace.
No medical advice
Content on this website and guidance provided during consultations do not constitute medical advice and are not a substitute for care from a physician or other licensed healthcare professional.
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are breastfeeding, or take prescribed medication, consult your doctor before making dietary changes. Do not stop or alter medication on the basis of nutrition guidance.
Before changing your diet
Speak to your doctor first if any medical condition, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or prescription medication applies to you. Bring the plan we draft to that appointment if it helps the conversation.
What we do not do
We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, or replace treatment you are already receiving. Any change to medication is a decision for your doctor alone.
If something changes
If your health changes between sessions, pause the plan and speak to your physician. Tell us at the next session so the guidance can be adjusted around the new situation.
Bookings and payment
Booking requests are submitted through the contact form and confirmed by email. An introductory call is provided at no cost. Paid consultations are arranged individually, and fees are confirmed in writing before the session.
Payment is made by invoice or bank transfer in advance of the session. Nothing is charged before you have the fee in writing.
Send a booking requestIntroductory call
A short video call to talk through your situation, what you want to change, and whether the practice is a good fit. No fee, no obligation to book a paid consultation afterwards.
Written fee confirmation
The fee for the consultation, the length of the session, and what the follow-up includes are set out in an email before you commit to anything.
Payment in advance
Invoices are settled by bank transfer before the session. The appointment is held once payment has cleared or an agreed arrangement is in place.
Session by video
The consultation takes place online at the agreed time, from wherever you are in Slovenia. You need a device with a camera and a stable connection.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Requests to reschedule should be sent at least 24 hours before the appointment where possible. Terms for late cancellation or missed appointments are confirmed with the booking, so the exact arrangement is always visible in your email thread before the session.
The introductory call can be rescheduled or cancelled at no cost. If a session has to move because of something on our side, you will be offered a new time or a refund for that session.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information in the intake form and food diary, to inform the practice of relevant medical conditions and medications, and to follow medical advice from your own physician where it applies.
You remain responsible for decisions about your diet and health. A nutrition plan is a working document; the choices made around it are yours.
Accurate intake
Dietary habits, allergies, and previous approaches all shape what gets suggested. Incomplete or inaccurate notes lead to guidance that does not fit.
Honest food diary
An ordinary week reads better than a perfect one. Notes that show real meals, snacks, and drinks give the session something concrete to work with.
Tell us about medication
Prescribed medication, supplements, and known conditions belong in the intake form. It changes what is safe to suggest and when your doctor needs to be involved.
Follow your own doctor
Where medical advice and a nutrition plan point in different directions, medical advice comes first. Tell us so the plan can be adapted.
Intellectual property
Meal plans, written summaries, and other materials provided during consultations are for your personal use. They may not be reproduced or distributed commercially without permission.
Content on this website is protected by applicable copyright law. If you want to share a recipe or a summary with a family member who eats with you, that is fine and often useful.
Limitation of liability
The practice is not liable for outcomes resulting from reliance on website content, from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client, or from dietary changes made contrary to medical advice.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Privacy, the law that applies, and what changes.
The last three clauses are the ones most visitors read twice: how personal data is handled, which courts hear a dispute, and how an updated version of these terms reaches you.
Privacy
Handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy. Both pages explain what is collected during a booking request, why it is needed, and how long it is kept.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Slovenian courts.
The practice operates from Ljubljana, and consultations are provided online to clients elsewhere in Slovenia under the same terms.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is published on this page, and the version shown here is the one that applies to a booking made today.
If a change affects how bookings, fees, or data handling work, it will be visible here before it applies to a new booking.
01 Do these terms replace medical advice from my doctor? Answer
No. These terms cover how the website and the consultation service work. They do not replace advice from your physician or another licensed professional, and nothing in a nutrition consultation should be used to change prescribed treatment.
02 When do I pay, and how much is the consultation? Answer
The fee is confirmed in writing before the session, so you always see the amount first. Payment is made by invoice or bank transfer in advance. The introductory call is provided at no cost.
03 Can I use the meal plan for a family member? Answer
Sharing what you cook with someone who eats at the same table is normal. The plan itself was written for your situation, so it is not a substitute for their own consultation, and it should not be distributed or sold.
04 What happens if I want to cancel? Answer
Send a reschedule request at least 24 hours before the appointment where you can. The exact terms for a late cancellation or a missed appointment are confirmed with your booking, and the introductory call can be moved or cancelled at no cost.
05 Which pages explain how my data is used? Answer
The privacy policy explains what is collected through the booking form and during consultations. The cookie policy explains what the site stores in your browser. Links to both are listed above.
Questions about these terms
If a clause here is unclear, or you want to check something before you book, write to the practice. Questions about a fee, a reschedule, or how a follow-up session works are all answered before any payment is made.
For anything about a medical decision, your own physician is the right person to ask. These terms cannot answer a medical question, and they are not written to try.
